Yoga is magic! No matter what is going on in our worlds and no matter how tough the day has been, when we meet our yoga mat, we feel better. How does that happen? My yoga journey began when I decided to investigate this question. What I discovered was a healing and life affirming science that I intend to practice and study for all of my remaining days. The more years I practice and lean on the yogic principles of a happy, productive life, the more I am able to transform my pain and suffering into a real-life celebration.
The gifts of the practice have given me a Mary Poppins bag full of life tools to use in a myriad of situations. The mat has given me an acceptance of who I really am and allowed me to blossom like the lotus flower. I love helping my students connect to their inner light and see their petals open. Join me as we navigate through the murky waters of life and seek the brilliant light shining through. Enjoy the process of growing into the real you and discovering the magic on your yoga mat. It really is about the journey!

James knows the evolutionary power of yoga firsthand. Yoga helped him transition from a low time in his life when hope was not in the equation, to a productive, joyful life with exponential hope. With a blended professional path as a physical therapist, entrepreneur, and yoga teacher, James leads vinyasa-style yoga classes, with an emphasis on slow, mindful movement and conscious breath work.
Yoga is the science of self-discovery, with a goal of physical and emotional expansion. James guides his students into their poses in a light and playful manner, and he encourages them to take the lessons from yoga and integrate them into their lives and enjoy the moments as they happen.
